Slowly and cautiously we’ve been opening our doors again to small events. We started off with Mel’s Yoga every Monday evening back in June. Then we added John’s yoga on Saturday mornings for seven sessions. Both have required pre-registration to ensure safety and physical distancing. This worked so well that we were inspired to organize our first Wellness Retreat. On September 19 from 8:30am to 7:30pm we have arranged to host a day that’s all about YOU! What better time to focus on what we all need to regroup, renew, refresh and reinvigorate our bodies, minds and souls. Registration is limited and has begun. Please contact Elaine if you are interested in the Wellness Retreat or would like more information.
Another recent addition to the event calendar is the Farmers Night Markets. We were approached by Holly Olafson (email@example.com), to try a few markets. They are held Saturday’s from 4-8pm with crafters, fresh produce and baking, direct sales and a Tarot reader! These events have been very well received and well run, so we welcome folks to check out the market on Saturdays (while the weather is still cooperating).
Overall, it’s been a very productive season with the hidden blessing of time given to us. We’ve used this time to settle into our new home “The Farmhouse” next door to the hall, landscape the acreage, (we’ve added a lovely pond with a dock and beach) plant and harvest a garden, spruce up the hall with some fresh paint here and there and catch our breath after a very busy year and busy summers for the past 5 years.
Time has also given us reflection and creative energy to imagine what else we can do with this beautiful venue. Ideas are flowing and we’ll be using the coming winter to finalize some plans with new developments to follow in what we hope is a back to some semblance of NORMAL in 2021 as well as a FRESH start.
So keep us in mind for your upcoming weddings, reunions and family gatherings. We’re confident that we’ll be dancing and celebrating again before you know it. We’ve missed seeing happy faces, listening to great music and the sounds of JOY that have been such a big part of our lives these past several years.
If this experience has taught us anything it’s that we need each other in order to thrive and look forward to 2021 with open arms.
Stay safe and be well,
Elaine and Darrell Klym
